In a letter to provincial leaders titled “Battle for the Soul of Alberta”, Brett discusses adopting a so-called “Loonie-Dollar System” – a framework for issuing debt in U.S. dollars – could destabilize Canada’s financial sector and erode the country’s economic sovereignty.
